Carbon Project Management - Implementation Specialists

Clean Trade Group (CTG), a fast-growing carbon credit development firm, seeks experienced project managers and implementation specialists to join our global team.  CTG provides carbon finance services for emission reduction initiatives around the world.  We create and sell carbon credits, for voluntary and compliance markets, that meet the highest standards for environmental integrity and social co-benefits.

CTG is growing and seeks seasoned professionals for both contract and full-time positions in support of our expanding portfolio in Southeast Asia.  Current opportunities range from mid-level to senior positions, commensurate with candidate experience.  Positions are based in Delhi, India.

Project Management (PM) Specialist

In this mission critical role, the PM Specialists will be responsible for facilitating the registration and certification of CTG’s project portfolio.

• Developing project feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses
• Drafting Project Idea Notes (PINS) and developing Project Design Documents (PDDs)
• Managing the project planning and development process
• Engaging external stakeholders, including third party validators, Designated National Authorities (DNAs) and certification agencies
• Negotiating and managing service contracts with DOEs and other third party service providers
• Designing and implementing effective, project-specific carbon monitoring and evaluation programs
• Working to support the successful growth of CTG’s presence in SE Asia.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of direct experience with all aspects of carbon finance project lifecycles, particularly in the writing and technical development of PDDs.
• Advanced degree in business, engineering, or environmental science
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated success meeting project management goals
• Demonstrated success managing large account relationships and interacting with senior level executives
• Experience and familiarity with environmental markets
• Experience and familiarity with clean energy technologies 
• Experience working with project management processes and planning software
• High growth startup and entrepreneurship experience
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

In addition, for senior level candidates:

• 6+ years of professional experience in clean technology, energy or environmental markets
• Demonstrated success registering CDM projects  
• Experience managing teams in an international environment
• Track record of successful business development
