Carbon PDD specialist

A respected carbon emissions specialist fund is looking for a PDD specialist to join the origination team in Beijing. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a fast-growing company and learn from some of the most experienced individuals in the market.

Responsibilities will include:

·         Supporting the senior originators on a day-to-day basis, preparing marketing materials and working alongside the technical team to ensure correct initial assessment of projects

·         Preparing Project Design Documents (PDDs) upon approval of the project

·         Working closely with the DOE and other relevant parties

·         Watching the market and helping the senior originators to find new clients to originate projects with

This is an excellent role with performance related bonuses on offer, so only candidates with the best experience will be considered for this role. Experience required:

·         PDD writing

·         Liaising with DOEs and other relevant teams in the process

·         Originating/supporting senior originators in winning CDM projects

·         In-depth understanding of CERs and other GHG products

·         Solid mathematical background and methodical mindset

·         Excellent communication skills and client facing experience

·         Mandarin speaker (100% essential)
