Carbon Auditing Manager, Southeast England

My client is leading consultancy working in a variety of markets offering bespoke business solutions. They are looking to hire an assurance expert with a strong background in sustainability to advice their most valued clients on their audits. My client is keen to see candidates with an excellent understanding of carbon strategy audits as this will ensure that candidates understand the company culture. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their carbon auditing knowledge and strong sustainability background to a challenging role with extensive responsibilities both internally while leading a team of talented analysts and externally while advising c-level clients on sustainability auditing.

This role will appeal to a technically minded individual with equally impressive experience and comprehension of the sustainability sector and the carbon auditing sector. This role will also appeal to someone looking to use the expertise to add value to the firm from day one.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing a team in conducting extensive research into the auditing process for sustainability strategies
• Working with c-level clients in the FTSE 100 to ensure that they have a well rounded understanding of sustainability requirements and expectations
• Developing sustainability strategies using the results of the information retrieved during the auditing process
• Conduct extensive client care by developing trusting relations with high level clients.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in carbon auditing, preferably post-qualification
• 3 + years experience in sustainability and CSR (corporate social responsibility)
• Experience working for one of the ‘big four’ consultancies preferred
• Ambition coupled with a brilliant technical mind
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
