Golder Associates is seeking a Carbon and Energy Analyst to join our Energy Services group. In this role, you will be responsible for:

•Building Greenhouse Gas (carbon) inventories to meet standards (e.g. ISO 14064);
•Supporting carbon emission reduction option identification and analysis;
•Completing lifecycle carbon analyzes using the federal government’s SMART process;
•Contributing to client energy use analysis;
•Supporting proposal development and technical report
writing;
•Assisting with developing marketing materials;
•Contributing to carbon and energy projects as required (e.g. energy efficiency knowledge essential);
•Performing other related duties as needed, such as developing internal relationships and attending client meetings and industry functions;
•This is not a policy-related position. Responsibilities are largely technical and implementation related.

Position Requirements

•A technical degree or diploma with demonstrable relevance to the above responsibilities;
•4 – 9 years of related technical experience, energy, utility company or consulting experience is preferred;
•Excellent Excel and general computer skills required;
•Be able to understand our client’s energy demands and carbon concerns;
•Have a good understanding of Canadian federal and regional carbon regulatory and market developments;
•Strong people and communication skills.
