Overall purpose of the role
As the Campaigner (Rapid Response) you will be providing creativity and leadership in the planning of short-term projects and campaigns, as well as ensuring successful coordination of all aspects of the given campaign project. As a multi-talented generalist, you will be responsible for devising, coordinating and delivering campaigns and projects as new opportunities arise.
Main responsibilities
- Actively represent Greenpeace and specific campaigns to the external public
- Generate engaging and purposeful content for use across diverse channels
- Implement innovative and creative processes
- Develop and maintain high-level networks and relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Manage project budgets
- Prepare and provide reports for all the stages in the campaigning lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge of national and international government process
- Proven knowledge of the business sector
- Knowledge and/or experience in national or international campaigning
- Demonstrable budgeting skills
- Technical and production skills (camera operation, digital editing, editing raw image files and script-writing).
The ideal candidate also
- Has experience in project management
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is able to make quick decisions in complex situations.
