Job title:         Campaign Team Manager

Reports to:    Campaign Director (Ending Inhumane culling)

OVERALL PURPOSE

This post will support the Campaign Director to implement one of WSPA’s priority programmes in line with WSPA’s agreed programme strategy. The purpose of the role is to manage the planning, development and implementation of the programme and its campaigns and to progress the global campaigns strategy of WSPA’s international programme department.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop campaign operations including line management of an International Office campaign team
  • Manage the development, co-ordination and delivery of strategic campaigns for a priority one campaign
  • Contribute to development of innovative and groundbreaking organisational strategies
  • Ensure effective project management of campaigns to ensure agreed strategic goals are delivered in a timely and effective manner
    • Manage, monitor and report on allocated budget expenditure
    • Manage the international coordination of campaigns in consultation with relevant staff
    • Ensure effective delivery of public campaigns and communications
    • Monitor and evaluate campaign progress and liaise with campaigns directors to ensure good communication, planning and direction between international campaign teams and the programme team directorate
    • Develop and maintain the highest standards of relationships internally and externally and coordination in the execution of public campaigns
    • Represent WSPA and its interests at meetings with external bodies, conferences, media and other public settings where relevant to WSPA’s agreed programmes of activity
    • Develop and maintain constructive and influential working relationships with key stakeholders relevant to the campaign
