Business Systems Analyst / Project Coordinator, Water Project

Present in Australia and New Zealand for over 70 years, our client is a world leader in Design & Build of water and wastewater treatment plants, focusing on reuse & desalination. They currently have a requirement for a Business Systems Analyst.

Reporting to the project director, your role will be to develop an Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) to meet identified requirements and achieve certification to AS4801, ISO14001 and ISO9001 on a significant desalination plant. Your main responsibilities will be to:

•    Identify the requirements for the Integrated Business Management System, including contract, legislation, licence and parent company
•    Develop a detailed project plan (IBMS Establishment Plan) and identify resources required to develop and implement the IBMS to meet specified deadlines.
•    Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting on the status of the IBMS Establishment Plan.
•    Maintain a Master Document Drafting List and provide document control services for draft documents.
•    Liaise with the Corporate Business Systems Department to ensure compliance with corporate requirements and to potentially integrate new processes into the corporate system.
•    Draft and format procedures, work instructions, templates and forms in accordance with corporate requirements.
•    Upon moving onto site, coordinate the activities of initial system implementation.
•    Monitor and report on system performance and ensure continual improvement.
•    Assist with obtaining certification to AS4801; ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

The ideal person will have a background in Engineering/Technology and will have proven experience in the development of IBMS’s. Essential experience includes:

•    2 -3 years in a management systems / business analyst / project coordinator related role.
•    Designing and implementing systems.
•    Initiating and implementing changes to systems.
•    Writing policies and procedures.
•    Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS4801, Integrated Management Systems and document control requirements.
•    Internal auditing.

In addition to the above criteria, an understanding of the water industry and previous experience on major water project will be ideal.

The role will offer a salary package close to $90,000 as well a range of benefits associated with working for a large corporate company.
