This is a great opportunity for a candidate that has proven, in-depth experience, with both the Salesforce and Financialforce platforms and assist in supporting, maintaining, and providing input on the design of our solutions for our projects, fundraising, communications and operations teams across all of The Climate Group’s global offices.
A successful candidate will identify this challenge as a unique and valuable opportunity to take part in our global technical transformation.  This role will be based in our London office and will report to Senior Systems and Project Accountant. About the role
The role will be part of the Operations team to assist the Senior System and Project Accountant and Head of Technology and on building tools to support business analysis, enhancing business system, improving users’ experience, checking data integrity and monitoring the daily operations of the entire business system which comprises of Salesforce and FinancialForce.


Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Tending to the everyday requests and questions from our finance and project teams, focused on FinancialForce PSA along with some additional Salesforce Platform responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with teams on creating, monitoring and updating details and related records of projects in FinancialForce PSA
  • Be responsible for monitoring, updating, reporting resource scheduling 
  • Provide administrative support to project teams on maintaining, editing and preparing reports for the transactional data in relation to their projects. (This may include but not be limited to creating Salesforce reports templates and dashboard, editing assignment schedules and records transfer between projects)
  • Provide administrative support to Finance team on reports creation
  • Construct and maintain advanced Excel reports and dashboard templates for project management and senior management reporting purposes
  • Manage data cleansing exercises and user error rectifications
  • Assist on preparing training materials, user manuals and business process documents for different functions of and within the applicable areas of our CRM platform
  • Respond and support users’ issues related to the business system
  • Export and archive data from SAP system
  • Assist Head of Technology (based in New York office) to proactively identify areas for improvement and introduce innovative recommendations, factoring in user needs, best practice, and data analytics

 

About you

Essentials:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload and assist where needed without direction
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task when needed
  • Analytical problem solver with a desire to learn new things
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with individuals at different organisational levels and cultural backgrounds 
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce Lightning and/or FinancialForce - advanced skill level in building Salesforce reports and dashboards; familiarity with building Einstein Analytic dashboards, managing currencies, exchange rates, rate cards; experience in managing Salesforce Opportunities and Opportunity Products (i.e. stages, pipeline and forecasting); familiar with Salesforce data import tools and process (i.e. Dataloader.io, Ondemand tools, Zappex, etc.); ability to provide assistance when needed with general data clean up ( i.e. duplicate management and mass record updates)
  • Experience and advanced level user of Excel with demonstrated knowledge in using high level formula functions  (i.e. SUMProduct, array formulas, and using Excel tools to build but not limited to dynamic dashboard, pivot tables and charts)

Desirable:

  • Experience working with FinancialForce – Professional Services Automation (PSA) - Create, manage and update all aspects of PSA records such as Projects, Milestones, Budgets, Resource Requests, Assignments and Schedules
  • Excel -general familiarity with regular expressions

 

Location
You will be based in our London head office, in London Zone 1. Occasional international travel will be required. 

 

Terms & Conditions
This is a full-time fixed term position for 15 months. We offer salary of £28,800 per annum or more based on experience.
