Primary Objectives
To sell and provide a sales support service to Wind Direct Ltd (WD), in line with the sales and marketing strategy and business plan. Working with clients and potential clients; WD Sales, Development and Management teams. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director – Wind Direct.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales (c. 70%) • Liaise with clients to interpret requirements and meet needs, maintaining a professional and close relationship with all clients. • Through telephone, email and mail actively pursue leads created both inside and outside the business. • Evaluate potential sites using in house software and GIS systems. • Convert enquiries into project development opportunities through follow up and be proactive in assisting the team turn these into “signed Transaction Agreements” . • Lead sales initiatives as per the business plan in partnership with the Marketing team. • Investigate new “market” areas and carry out mail-shots and follow up. • Support the Sales & Marketing Director in preparing proposals and associated documentation and organising client meetings on their behalf. • Economic analysis.
Office (c. 25%) • Management of the office organisation and facilities – filing, IT hardware, invoice administration, landlord liaison. • Enter data into the CRM system. • Manage and administrate the current CRM system liaising with the relevant people for updates taking a proactive approach to imminent new systems. • Provide and update management reports as required. • Provide first class admin support to the team including organising travel and expenses for the Sales and Marketing Director, receiving visitors, providing refreshments.
Marketing (c. 5%) • Support, and potentially manage marketing initiatives including website support, literature support as required by the business.
