Business Development Manager, Southern California

My client specializes in providing solar systems in a range of sizes, from residential to small commercial customers with simple, full-service installations. They assess the customer’s energy usage; design and install Photovoltaic systems. The client is currently based out of Southern California, with a strong reputation for high quality service and is rapidly growing due to ongoing success in the solar space in the USA.

Due to the exciting period of rapid growth they are currently looking for a senior solar business development manager to oversee the growth of the organization and develop new clients in the solar space. Working as part of an esteemed solar technical team you will be expected to work autonomously on occasion and therefore will need to have previous experience of working in the solar PV sector.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build up the current solar sales team in California
• Reach out to new customers and discuss the benefits of the services the client offers
• Evaluate site conditions
• Develop and present solar customers with system economic analysis, explaining the costs involved, the savings they would acquire and their return on investment. 
• Create long lasting relationships with third parties

Skills and qualifications needed:

• 3-5 years experience in Solar PV
• Residential and commercial solar immigration sales experience
• Have the ability to work full time in the USA
• An engineering degree would help
• A passion for the solar PV sector
