Description

My client is a leading solar products manufacturer, with distribution channels spanning across North America, Europe and Asia. As part of their expansion across Europe, they are looking for an experienced business development manager.

 

Position Overview:
Reporting to Global Head of Strategy, this position will ensure business growth in accordance with the organizational strategy through carrying out business development activities

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • Responsible for the German Market
  • Launch  and Market Development of solar module products
  • Analysing the clients needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
  • Discuss different options and explain the benefits of solar modules
  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Working in conjuction with the development, sales and project finance teams
  • planning and organizing of projects/ products
  • Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar products / projects

 

Education:-

  • ·         Strong educational background, undergraduate degree in business related field

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 5 years of business development experience, with an excellent track record
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing solar modules
  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • Able to speak English and German  
  • Experience in selling modules to IPPs, integrators and developers

 

General Requirements:-

  • ·         Willingness to travel to sites around Eastern Europe
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • ·         Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detecting realistic solutions
  • ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects

Ability to manage a multi-cultural workforce

 

Key Skills:

Solar PV, strong business related background, complex stakeholder and customer management experience and the ability  to create an grow a new business or function.
