Business Development Manager, Bologna, Italy

My client is one of the fastest growing solar module manufacturers globally and have a very strong business plan and balance sheet, with distribution channels spanning across North America, Europe and Asia. As part of their expansion into the Italian PV market are looking to recruit a business development manager.

Responsibilities:-

• Launch  and market development of solar module products
• Analysing the clients needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
• Discuss different options and explain the benefits of solar modules
• Negotiating terms and closing deals
• Planning and organizing of projects/ products

• Provide market intelligence (industry trends, competitors, prices) to support Strategy Unit and Sales team in designated region in the form of reports
• Take part and coordinate special projects
• Identify and initiate relationship with strategic clients
• Attend trade shows and conferences for intelligence collection

Requirements:-

• You will have at least 2-5 years of business development experience, with an excellent track record
• Excellent knowledge of solar modules
• Ability to travel frequently to client sites
• Must be fluent in Italian and English and have the ability to work in Italy
• Experience in selling modules to IPPs, integrators and developers
• Must have strong educational background (MBA would be desirable)
