My client is one of the top ten manufacturers of wind turbines internationally. They work across Europe, North America and Asia and their turbines have been used in over 13 countries worldwide. They have developed technology that ensures maximum output for wind farm developments.

My client is looking for a deal maker to be the US Business development manager with a proven track record in negotiations and closing deals in the Wind sector.
Responsibilities
- · You will work across the USA in order to attract new business and work on closing deals in order to secure that my clients wind turbines are used on project developments across the US
- · You will lead and negotiate projects with key clients within the wind market gaining contacts and forming relationships that will secure ongoing business for the wind turbine manufacturer
- · You will use your strong negotiation skills and technical training to explain the key components of the wind turbine, discussing its USP with potential clients
- · You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients in the US wind sector
- · During these negotiations you will perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
- · You will source new sites and opportunities that the wind turbine manufacturer can be involved in and develop business relationships and opportunities
- · Work with company directors throughout Europe to establish key relationships and understanding of the Wind company
Education
A relevant degree in either engineering or business management
Core Requirements:-
- · Experience working in a business development or commercial role in the renewable energy market
- · Experience working in the wind market in the USA
- · Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
- · Advanced spoken and written English
- · Able and willing to travel throughout the USA
- · Exceptional negotiations skills and a strong financial mind
- · Background experience in a managerial role is beneficial

- · Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- · Strong presentation skills
