We are looking for an exceptional candidate to develop and deliver the business
development strategy of a wide ranging sustainability consultancy.
The
successful candidate will have experience of working in a business development
capacity and an interest in sustainability. Our client is a high growth
organisation, with a fantastic portfolio of consulting services, applicable
across various sectors and environments. Duties include: Develop a measurable
business development strategy and implementation plan. Provide strategic support
to Head of Sales with market and competitor analysis. Establish new business
opportunities in the public and commercial sustainability sectors. Represent the
company at a senior level, meeting with stakeholders in the public and
commercial sustainability sectors in a business development capacity. Develop
and maintain relationships with partners, local authorities, and commercial
clients. Meet and effectively handle enquiries from commercial organisations and
public sector clients.
We are looking for someone with business acumen, who
is keen to work in the sustainability sector but who’s skills remain in the
commercial side of business as opposed to project delivery.
