Description

My client is a global equipment manufacturer and turnkey solutions provider with a strong presence in the solar PV market across Asia. They are currently looking to hire a business development associate to aid with their European expansion plans. The role requires a high level of business growth knowledge so they are looking for someone with a degree in business administration or a related field. A successful candidate will also have client facing experience as they will be required to develop and maintain successful client relations to ensure the growth of the business.  Business development experience will ideally have been gained within the solar or renewable energy space.

 

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

  • Support the BD Department by working directly with the Business Development managers on various projects/programs
  • Communicate with different functioning departments in ‘Global Sales & Marketing Centre’ to coordinate relationships between customers/project developers and company
  • Assist with the development of comprehensive project development and sales lead lists

 

Requirements:

  • Major in ‘Business Administration’, ‘Marketing’, or related fields, at least bachelor degree
  • Excellent in office software using
  • Active, self-encouraged and responsibility-oriented work attitude
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Quick response to market signals; conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and be able to communicate with customers at all levels;
  • Strong customer relationship skills, ability to grow and retain accounts, build relationships, quickly spot and communicate potential risks and issues;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Excellent in English and Italian
  • Other European languages are desirable
