Opportunity:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work on Clean Technology projects in our Beijing office. This is an exciting opportunity in which the successful candidate will provide market and financial information to senior members of the Company that will assist in making decisions on the attractiveness of industry sectors and in the valuation of potential portfolio investments.The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Conduct high level market research on targeted industrial sectors
• Conduct market research on specific investment targets and comparable companies
• Screen prospective investment opportunities and preparing summary reports of findings
• Conduct financial due diligence on investment opportunities, including coordinating the work of outside advisors where relevant
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuations of targeted investments
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for potential portfolio investments
• Provide support to other team members during project negotiations, detailed execution and closing activities

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or accounting
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in venture capital/private equity, investment banking or financial advisory firms
• Highly developed computer (spreadsheet) technical skills

You will possess a strong knowledge of accountancy, exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and high attention to detail, a self starter with drive and creativity to source information from multiple sources. You must be comfortable with communicating at all levels, and be methodical and analytical in your approach. High levels of professionalism are imperative.Good English skills and knowledge of clean energy and environmental sectors would be an asset. You must be willing to travel frequently.
