The future of the black grouse looks brighter due to a partnership between the RSPB and Black Grouse Whisky, whereby 50p from each bottle sold is directed into black grouse conservation work. The Black Grouse Information Officer will deliver a programme of events at The Famous Grouse Experience, Crieff, with a view to engaging with people about this iconic bird, encouraging RSPB membership, increasing family participation, increasing whisky, shop and restaurant sales, and promoting links between the RSPB and the Famous Grouse brand. The postholder will have experience of organising family events, creative flair, the ability to work to deadlines, excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated and have an infectious enthusiasm for wildlife and conservation.
