FSC is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ´Bringing Environmental Understanding to All´ via its 17 Field Centres throughout the United Kingdom. We currently have a vacancy for a Tutor at our residential Centre at Juniper Hall, Surrey.
In the important and challenging role of a Field Tutor you will develop, plan and deliver GCSE and A-level courses, along with environmental courses for younger students. You will be expected to play a major role in the working and organisation of the teaching team. Therefore previous experience is essential, as is knowledge of the National Curriculum and a degree in biology, ecology, environmental science or closely allied discipline. Training will be given to help you develop your competence. You´ll also be confident in working both in a team and independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary is offered in the range of £16,446 - £18,767 depending upon qualifications and experience. Single accommodation may be available for this post. If resident at the Centre a deduction is taken for accommodation.
