Biogas Project Developer, Hanover, Germany, €70k

My client is a global developer of turnkey biogas plants. To date they have completed more than 240 plants worldwide in areas such as the UK, Germany, Thailand and Cuba. They are currently looking for an experienced project developer to join their dynamic organisation and make an significant contribution.

Responsibilities:

• Market analysis, identification of suitable locations and the origination of biogas projects
• managing the biogas plant development process including feasibility studies
• Interaction with the key people responsible for permitting development, locally and nationally
• Review, develop and assess the financial, planning, environmental and technical elements of wind farm projects
• Ensure effective liaison and a smooth hand over from prospecting to development for successful projects
• Manage and co-ordinate technical operators for the maintenance of biogas plants
• Assist in and ensure the profitability of the plants by means of selling the energy produced.

Requirements:

• Must have a proven track record in the project development of renewable energy projects
• Will consider those with an alternative renewable energy background other than biogas
• Must be based out of Hanover, Germany.
• Ability to think creatively to successfully overcome obstacles and achieve objectives
• Will be a motivated individual with extensive interpersonal skills
