£16-18k pa

As an integral part of the data management team, the Biodiversity Data Administrator will support a diverse range of GIS and data related tasks including:

  • Map production for wildlife reserve signage
  • Data requests database
  • GIS and data support for staff across all areas of the organisation
  • Help provide in-house training and support for staff using GIS technologies e.g. ArcPad
  • Collate essential reserve inspection and tree safety survey data
  • Assist in the implementation of the Asset Management System as part of the innovative CMSi upgrade
  • Support SNH remedies database and the reserves section of SWT’s website

Candidates for both positions will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with proven experience in GIS.  They will be self motivated, highly organised and pay excellent attention to detail.  An ability to work with people with a range of IT and GIS abilities and a driving licence will be advantageous.
