This is an exciting opportunity for which the post holder will be involved in engaging with target audiences to take part in the UK’s leading biodiversity training courses and a renowned portfolio of wildlife identification guides. By using relevant content with supporting marketing activities, the post holder will recruit and retain young people (age 16+) and adults to learn about the environment in order to take practical actions to help nature recovery. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to develop a career in content marketing at a leading environmental charity. These marketing activities are part of FSC’s Eco-Business Directorate. The role is focused on delivering outcomes of specific projects funded by commercial and philanthropic funding. The focus incudes FSC’s successful ‘BioLinks’ project. This is focused on creating more biological records with increased accuracy and focuses on under-recorded difficult-to-identify invertebrates. This is vital for effective nature conservation which depends on the availability of good quality and robust information. Over 2,000 volunteers will be involved with skills in biological identification. BioLinks is National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project running until the end of 2022. The role also supports FSC’s new range of natural history and arts courses for individuals delivered online and in-person, as well as FSC publications. It will also support FSC funded projects with biodiversity content to a range of target audiences. Key responsibilities
