The Bumblebee Conservation Trust seeks to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly capable individual to deliver work as part of our new three-year Bees for Everyone project. This exciting and innovative UK-wide project aims to raise awareness of bumblebees and support rare species through conservation work to provide flower-rich habitats.
You will project-manage delivery of conservation elements, including line management of conservation staff. You will also be responsible for delivery of conservation work in England, with a focus on areas surrounding rare bumblebee populations in a defined area within the south of England.
With experience in habitat management, restoration and creation you will also have knowledge of UK bumblebees and their requirements for conservation. You will have proven skills in project development, management and delivery plus the ability to motivate and support staff. In addition, your experience working in partnership with other organisations, farmers and other land managers will help you fulfil the habitat delivery responsibilities of the post.
