Back From the Brink Ladybird Spider Project Officer

Do you want to be a part of a ground-breaking approach to saving species from extinction?  Back from the Brink is a new £6.6million HLF-funded programme delivered by a partnership of England’s leading nature conservation organisations.  We are building a team of enthusiastic and experienced individuals across the partnership to undertake conservation work and inspire the nation to discover, value and act for threatened species.

Buglife are seeking an experienced project officer to deliver a high profile species conservation project.  You will have a passion for invertebrates and nature conservation, and experience of working in the sector.  You will work closely with project partners to establish new populations of Ladybird spiders in the wild, to monitor existing populations and undertake habitat management activities to maintain suitable conditions for the species to thrive.   You will also have experience of outreach, and an ability to engage people with nature.  You will need to enjoy working with people, have excellent communication and organisation skills

Interviews will held at Buglife’s South West office in Plymouth, and are planned for the 24^th- 26^th May.
