Are you an ambitious environmental graduate looking to take your career to the next level with a global centre of excellence in biodiversity data, information and knowledge?  We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and conscientious person to join our team at UNEP-WCMC where you will be working in the Ecosystem Assessment and Policy Support Programme to help our team of experts deliver an exciting body of work focusing mainly on biodiversity indicators, ecosystem assessments,  and support for the global biodiversity related conventions. 

You will be supporting project teams in delivering well written and succinct reports and scientific outputs by providing analysis and synthesis of data and information, including from published literature, databases and various multiple sources. You will be supporting the organisation of workshops or project events, contributing to the drafting, compilation, translation, proof reading and checking of publications, and responding to internal requests for technical information and analyses on behalf of the Programme.

You will have a degree in a relevant field such as biological sciences, geography, ecology, environmental sciences. You’ll be able to show us that you can critically review and synthesise scientific information, demonstrate strong analytical skills, communicate in both written and verbal ways to a variety of audiences, show strong attention to detail, and manage your time effectively.
