Assistant Woodland Officer

It’s an exciting time to join SF.  We are a new executive agency of Scottish Government, which supports the delivery of the Scottish Government’s updated framework for forestry in Scotland, including woodland expansion and the regulation of felling.  We want you to become part of our new organisation and help shape the future of forestry in Scotland.

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

Support the Woodland Officers in providing advice and in assessing and processing Forestry Grants and felling permission applications and undertake inspections of grant claims and forestry activity in your area.
