We are looking for an assistant warden to join the team at Mid Yare, an 800 ha species-rich wetland in the Norfolk Broads. Their main role will be to assist the Fen Warden, managing 450 ha of reedbed, fen and wet woodland for key birds, outstanding biodiversity interest and as visitor attraction. They will also assist with managing 350 ha of wet grassland, face to face visitor work and all other aspects of reserve management. The successful candidate will have relevant practical reserve management experience, good bird identification skills and some relevant machinery experience/certification. They will have an enthusiasm for wildlife and be able to communicate this to a wide range of audiences.
