Assistant Project Manager - Invasive Species Control Unit
Fixed Term Contract Position - Addo National Park

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assistance with the implementation of alien clearing projects.
• Supervising of contractors/supervisors.
• Mapping and quantification of work for clearing contracts and task work.
• In field monitoring of contract/work sites.
• Quality control and production control of clearing operations.
• Ensuring compliance with clearing standards including Health and Safety requirements.
• Asset, Equipment and herbicide stores management.
• Administrative management.
• Organization and assistance with community programmes.
• Awareness with regard to the programme.

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in Nature Conservation.
• 3 years relevant field experience.
• Experience in Alien Plant Clearing and Coast Care will be an advantage.
• Code 08 driver’s license.
• Computer literacy in Excel and Outlook.
