Description |
The successful candidates must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate, have successfully completed a SANBI Assistant Education Officer training course and should have proven competence and experience in facilitating environmental education lessons in Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden. The position requires a confident communicator who is able to relate well with both learners and educators. The candidate should show an understanding of the Department of Education’s National Curriculum Statement and have proven experience in working co-operatively as part of a team. The successful candidates must have good spoken and written communication skills in two official languages of Gauteng. Responsibilities include: Please Note: This is an ad hoc position which does not offer a fixed salary. Payment will be made for meetings attended (R112.50 per meeting) and scheduled teaching sessions (R150.00 per session). Payment will only be made on proof of a signed timesheet.
