You will support the work of the regional conservation team by undertaking specific tasks and projects. With guidance and input from colleagues, you will develop the RSPB's responses to planning casework such as development proposals and strategic plans. Your work will help conserve the region's most important birds and their habitats and you will need to be very persuasive to encourage other agencies to take positive action for biodiversity. You will be educated to degree level in a biological or land use planning subject. We are looking for someone with a passion for birds and other wildlife and a clear commitment to fight to conserve our most valuable and threatened habitats. You will need to be an enthusiastic team player and able to work effectively with and through others.
