Description

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.

The Wildlife Trusts are working to facilitate nature’s recovery across the nature reserves we care for and within the communities we work alongside, and we know that if nature is to be restored at scale, we need many more people on nature’s side.

We are offering the exciting opportunity to join our Nature Recovery team based in our central Norwich office (hybrid working policy is in place).

We are seeking a well organised, self-motivated person with experience in report writing and some knowledge of ecology or local authority planning processes to help with preparing responses to development proposals in Norfolk.

We offer the following benefits:

  • Competitive annual leave entitlement
  • 8 % employer contribution to Aviva pension (2% employee minimum)
  • Group income protection and death in service benefits (for pension members)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption policies
  • Learning days
  • All staff are eligible for free admission to our nature reserves and visitor centres.
