Assistant Communications Officer

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Communications Officer is responsible for assisting the coordination and developments of the Communications Department, and responsible for filing and managing news clippings of Greenpeace China and analyzing Greenpeace China's media performance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Assist the management in coordination and development of the Communications Unit.
2.Facilitate internal communications within the Communications Department and between the Communications Department and other Greenpeace staff.
3.Systematically file all news clippings of Greenpeace by media in mainland, Hong Kong and other countries
4.Manage the media clippings library
5.Analyze Greenpeace China's media performance
6.Channel and respond to public inquiries, as Greenpeace China's representative.
7.Establish and maintain external relationships useful for the Communications Department, as Greenpeace China's representative.
8.Perform other duties as designated by the line manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.Bachelor's degree or above. Two years working experience preferred.
2.Good Chinese and English Proficiency.
3.Strong administrative skills.
4.Strong interpersonal, communications and coordination skills.
5.Analytical and strategic skills in communications.
6.Innovative.
7.Passion for environmental protection.
