Hackney Housing is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Supervisor to join our existing team to manage the grounds maintenance of Hackney’s Housing stock.

You will have previous experience in amenity grounds maintenance in a charge hand or supervisory capacity and be qualified to, or the equivalent of NVQ level 3 in Amenity Horticulture. The role consists of managing a team of staff working on all seasonal elements of grounds maintenance, including, grass cutting, shrub and rose bed maintenance, applying herbicides, leaf clearance and vehicle driving with a trailer.

You will be responsible for a depot and managing the health and safety of your team, machines, and vehicle and depot welfare facilities. Our working day starts at 7.30am from 4 depots located across the borough and finishes at 3.15pm.
