Job Details Are you an excellent communicator, able to engage and build relationships with farmers and land managers? Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB are looking for a motivated individual with a strong track record of engaging with farmers and land managers to lead the delivery of the ‘Farming in Protected Landscapes’ programme across these two outstanding landscapes. Your role You will be the first point of contact for the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme which provides grants to farmers seeking to deliver on climate, nature, access and landscape. You will help to develop project ideas with farmers to encourage high-quality applications to the programmes; monitor budgets; assess applications and provide recommendations to a Local Assessment Panel for decisions. The team The small dedicated AONB team works across two of England’s finest landscapes. The team works to conserve and enhance the natural beauty and special qualities of the nationally designated AONB. The team is based in its own office and works closely with the local community and a wide range of partners from the environmental, farming, business and charity sectors.
