Description

Analyst - Advisory

The Carbon Trust’s Advisory business provides strategic consultancy advice to UK and international blue-chip companies, helping them grow and profit from the low-carbon economy while responsibly managing their impact on climate change. We help clients address carbon/energy and climate change as a strategic business issue, enabling them to understand and realise opportunities and mitigate risks. The successful candidate will work in project teams to deliver high quality, high impact advice to clients. He/she will also be expected to play a role in growing and developing the Advisory Services business. The core responsibility of the Analyst is to conduct data research and analysis, and to work with businesses to interpret their data, and develop and communicate insights from this as part of a project deliverable. The Analyst will be managed on client projects, but will be expected to apply a high degree of independence and initiative in delivering high quality work. The team also specialises in carbon and environmental impact footprinting at a product, category and supply chain level, which informs some of our work with clients and standards bodies, and has developed market leading software to support this. The role will include the opportunity for significant involvement in this area.

Closing Date: 15 April 2013
