Civil / Environmental Engineer – Air Quality Practice Group Leader Sequence is seeking a Senior Practice Group Leader to develop and lead a rapidly growing southern California based air quality and emissions management organization. The ideal individual would have at least 8+ years of experience in directing air quality modeling, health risk assessment, permitting, CEQA and Greenhouse Gas Emission projects throughout the Southern California and the national marketplace. Candidates must have the abilities to perform technical project oversight, business development and client relationship activities, budgeting, training, and personnel management for the practice group. The practice group leader will have directorship responsibilities for leading the practice group in all functional areas of operations; with a strong emphasis on developing business for the practice group, as related to power plants, refineries, and heavy manufacturing organizations. Individuals who are currently leading an air quality practice group and/or who own a small organization looking for a merger will be given preference to consideration. Requires a Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) Required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Position can be based any one of the major cities in California (San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, Sacramento or San Francisco).
