After-sales manager, Zurich

My client is an established manufacturer of crystalline solar cells and modules. They are ever-increasing in size and capacity and in 2009 significantly increased the size of their client base as well as gaining new clients in Q1 2010.

They are currently looking to hire an after-sales customer support technician to join their team in Zurich servicing clients in German speaking Europe including Switzerland, Austria and Germany as well as giving support to their after-sales managers covering Italy, France, Greece and Spain.

Responsibilities include:

• Working in conjunction with the sales and installation teams in after-sales care of clients who have purchased solar modules and turnkey systems
• Dealing with customer complaints and resolving issues as quickly as possible; actioning any customer queries within the smallest time period possible
• Acting as a brand ambassador for the company in order to keep a competitive edge and provide the highest possible level of service
• Travelling frequently to assess client problems with products and either fix these or arrange for engineers to quickly fix or replace solar systems

Skills and qualifications needed:

• Educated to Bachelor level in engineering (electrical or mechanical)
• Passionate about the Solar PV industry
• Proven track record in dealing with customers in the solar PV space dealing with installations of 500KW+ ideally
• Completely fluent in spoken and written German and English
• Willing/able to live and work in Zurich, Switzerland
