Reports to: TFT Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
The Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks, including:
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records;
- Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable);
- Entering data into computer system using defined computer programs (NAV);
- Compiling financial data and preparing a variety of reports;
- Reconciling records with internal company employees and management staff, and external vendors or customers;
- Recommending actions to resolve discrepancies;
- Investigating questionable data.
Education, Qualifications, Skills, Experience
Required:
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- University degree (Bachelor) or equivalent in accounting or related field;
- No previous accounting work experience required but welcome;
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
- Ability to work flexible hours, as required;
- Ability to pay attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments, and work autonomously;
- Flexibility, ability to show initiative and a positive attitude;
- Eager to continually learn and develop as part of a team;
- Good understanding and high interest in environmental and social responsibility issues.
