Accountant

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for a new role in which you will be expected to, provide support to the Financial Controller during a time of change due to the adoption of new finance and HR/payroll system.     During this time the year end accounts will need to be prepared, and the budgeting process finalised.  

Essential Requirements include:

• Qualified accountant with at least five years’ experience post qualifying

• Experience of preparing management accounts and financial accounts reporting

• Experience and knowledge of charity SORP

• Experience of preparing the annual budget and re-forecast for a charity

• Experience with SUN 6 and Q&A

• Experience and knowledge of Gift Aid and VAT

• Strong oral communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines

• Experience of dealing with senior managers
