We are looking for highly skilled & experienced CPCS excavator driver, to support our Habitats teams delivering environmental enhancement projects of varying lengths. The role will typically involve excavating new river channels, building riverbeds, landscaping water meadows, pinning trees into rivers and creating natural and sympathetic looking ponds, channels and banks. We are looking for outstanding team players, with a positive and professional attitude to join our team to undertake projects locally and nationwide. You will have demonstrable experience in adhering to site health, safety, environmental and wellbeing standards. We are looking for individuals to be based within commuting distance of our new head office in the Andover area ideally, however as we work nationally, there will be an expectation to travel and stay away from home regularly. We are looking for someone who has experience in working outdoors in environmentally sensitive areas. Staff with experience in working on large infrastructure projects UK wide, will be looked on favourably. You will receive ongoing training and development in all aspects of the operational tasks and have a great opportunity for continued progression. We are looking for real go-getters who have a positive work ethic, and a practical and determined approach.
The role As an Excavator Driver, you will be delivering a variety of environment enhancement projects including river restoration, fish passage, ecological mitigation and restoration works from concept through to delivery. You will be working alongside hardworking, motivated and passionate people as part of the Habitats team. Person specification
