Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be managing a team of highly experienced engineers through the design of all electrical aspects of utility scale solar PV projects as well as providing guidance through construction
Education:
You will be educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities:-
•Overall management of electrical design team
•Management of design deliverables
•Ensure that all construction related activities are in accordance to the initial design and that projects will be executed to the highest of standards
•Co ordinate interface teams to ensure that the design and construction teams are synchronized
•Support business development teams with regards to due diligence, scheduling, cost modelling and interaction with statutory bodies and tender proposals
Core Requirements:-
•A minimum of 8 years relevant working experience
•2 years experience in a leadership role
•Understanding of solar energy modelling
•Ability to prepare control schemes
•Previous experience with solar PV and substation design
General Requirements:-
•Strong leadership skills
•Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
