Summary
The Director IT Supply Chain will be responsible for SunPower’s Supply Chain process optimization around Forecast to Delivery, and Order to Cash process areas, and associated IT solutions. This individual will have primary IT leadership for this process area working closely with key business stakeholders including Global Process Owners to drive all aspects of business transformation and IT support.
This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Application Delivery and will be responsible for leadership in the following areas:
1. Drive the change initiatives within Supply Chain / Operations (including Factory Applications) focused around Order to Cash and Forecast to Delivery process areas as the Supply Chain Business IT Partner
2. Other special projects as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties:
• Achieve stakeholder agreement on priorities and alignment on business needs including funding and resourcing to support finance IT initiatives
• Partner with senior IT management and peers to define application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective IT application infrastructure
• Drive multiple supply chain improvement initiatives
• Define measuring metrics and key performance objectives that address capability development, business adoption , and business outcome achievement
Key Responsibilities:
• Extensive knowledge of ERP Supply Chain Applications platform including B2B integration
• Client-facing Skills: business networking, consulting and partnering, influence
• Strong judgment and decision making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration.
• Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good people management skills, including recruiting, mentoring, and career development.
• Deep expertise and successful working experience with IT Service Providers covering all phases of the systems development lifecycle
• Hands on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including detailed deliverable development as well as team management at all levels.
• Strong analytical capabilities (market, financial, operations)
Education and Experience
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; Master’s Degree or APICS certification is a plus.
• 12+years ERP Applications implementation experience across all major Supply Chain Management modules including Order Management, Purchasing and Shipping (11x/R12) with at least two successful Supply Chain project implementations; Oracle ERP eBusiness Suite application experience is a plus
• 10+ years program management experience, preferably at a ‘Big 4’ Consulting firm.
• Proven leadership and influencing abilities from core team up through executive levels.
• Strong stakeholder management, communications, and facilitation experience across the full lifecycle of complex products.
• Proven ability to hire, train and motivate a team.
• Content based leadership, with a clear focus on both planning and execution
Qualifications
• Experience with other ERP applications and Agile “Scrum” development are considered a plus
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES) is a plus
• Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus
• Capable of successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Minimum (25%) travel required to engage with business managers, users and subject matter experts.
