Authorised Wind Technician, Scotland

With a passion for safety and precision, my client is an independent provider of engineering support to owners and operators of wind turbines

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the site manager and will be responsible for coordinating all day to day maintenance of wind turbines.

Responsibilities:-

• Carry out and coordinate scheduled maintenance of on shore wind turbines
• Coordinate sub contractors and technicians
• Provide training and support to junior technicians
• Perform safety inspections

Education:-

• HND/HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering

Core Requirements:-

• A minimum of 2 years working experience within the wind industry
• Must posses all necessary qualifications to perform maintenance on onshore wind turbines
• Qualified Authorised technician
• Good understanding of HSE procedures
• Track record of supervising technicians
• Understanding of SCADA systems
